Why choose Guideline Lift Services?

We are able to take on all aspects of lift repairs, such as gear boxes, ropes, door operators, drive units, control panels and much more besides. Whether it’s a passenger lift, stairlift, escalator, platform or dumbwaiter, it’s fair to say that if you have a lift component problem, we can solve it.

As independent UK lift experts, we strive to provide a more responsive service and more competitive prices than the major lift manufacturers, and collaborate with leading lift consultants to help resolve your problem.

Clients have always praised the timely manner in which we are able to fix their issues; we aim to have your lift up and running in as little time as possible. In the event of entrapments or emergencies, we strive to have our engineers on-site within one hour.

What types of lift do we repair?

Guideline’s lift engineers are vastly experienced in performing repair services on a range of lift components and types, and have dealt with all the top passenger lift manufacturers – Otis, Schindler, ThyssenKrupp and Kone lifts just to name a few.

Our engineers are trained to NVQ3 or equivalent and our technicians to NVQ4 or equivalent. As such, they are experts in their field and are capable of diagnosing and repairing almost any elevator issue you might have.

When we can repair?

We can repair lifts on a one-off basis, but we would always recommend the security a planned preventative lift maintenance programme can provide. With a Guideline Lift Maintenance Contract, we will perform regular lift services to improve the life and reliability of your elevator equipment whilst ensuring it meets essential health and safety requirements.
